Designated as a National Monument by President Barack Obama in 2015, the Waco Mammoth National Monument has become a vital center for paleontological research, preservation, and public education.
A Night with the Mammoths Anniversary Gala honors the incredible journey of this one-of-a-kind site, from its discovery to its national recognition. This special evening brings together community members, partners, and supporters to raise awareness and support for the continued conservation and educational mission of the monument.
